Black to the Future is an introductory course for black students to learn about the future of STEM based careers, businesses, and industries and opportunities in these fields. In 2018, it was reported that 80 percent of employment opportunities in 10 years will be STEM based. Thus, the FUTURE of young black students in terms of in employability and entrepreneurship is intricately connected to immersion in the STEM disciplines. These courses will be modeled like simulators and incubators with a goal of building a pipeline for students to go right into a stem industry with a goal for professional and/or entrepreneurial success.
